Teen's Group

In this group teenagers will learn the following:

  • What is depression and anxiety?

  • In each session they will learn a different tool through different ways, such as art, plasticine, writing, etc.

  • Tools such as: breathing techniques, meditation, mindfulness, self-control and  self-compassion, directly help with anxiety and depression. The idea is that they learn these techniques and practice them so that they can use them when needed.

  • What they can control and what is out of their hands?

  • What needs to be let go and what needs healing?

  • A safe space to talk about your problems.

  • A previous appointment for evaluation is necessary to enter the group. This will help to become familiar with the therapist and to see if the best option for the adolescent is group therapy.
