M.Ed., Certified EC-6 Texas Bilingual Educator, MFT Intern, Early Intervention Specialist
Profile
Hi, my name is Sol Tager and I was born and raised in Mexico, where I completed and graduated with honors my Bachelors and Master’s Degrees in Education. I have served in the Education field for twenty-five years now and I have taught almost every grade level. I came to the U.S. in 2014, when Fort Worth ISD brought me to this wonderful country to be a part of their highly qualified educators. Since then, I had been teaching students that pertain to my wonderful Hispanic community, until December of 2022, which helped me discover that the family is the foundation that helps the individual develop in a healthy way and environment. The perfect way to optimize that healthy development is by empowering the family with the use of strengths that they already possess. In December of 2022 I started working for MHMR, Tarrant County, where I proudly serve as an Early Intervention Specialist and work with families of babies with disabilities, to help them and empower them support their little loved ones.
My passion for helping others inspired me to go back to school and I am currently completing my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University. I have worked serving men and women, as well as their families, who are survivors of domestic violence and domestic abuse. My focus is on the solution rather than in the problem, which is why I love working with the Solution Focused Therapy approach. I love to work with children, adolescents, adults (individually), couples, and families. One of the beliefs that motivate me is the fact that we all possess the strengths and tools to solve the struggles we may experience in life, but sometimes we just need a little “push” to access them and empower ourselves. Let’s discover together those strengths that you, your children, your couple, your family already possess to solve the challenges and difficulties that may arise in life.
